Nothing on the public side of this site needs an account. The three datasets in the catalogue are open to anonymous retrieval. This form is the entrance to the staging area, where partner institutions deposit gauge records that are not yet cleared for publication.

Partner / federated access

Access is federated through partner identity providers; there is no self-service registration here. If you need read access to a staged record, request a time-limited guest token from info@tidalcore.dev and state the station and date range.

What is behind this

Staged records carry provisional quality flags and are deliberately kept out of the public catalogue until a second analyst has signed off on the datum string and the gap handling. Treat anything you pull from staging as unreviewed; it is not citable and the values can change without a changelog entry.
